Staplehurst Cricket & Tennis Club is delighted to announce the launch of a three-year commercial partnership with Wilmoths Maidstone.

The deal encompasses ground advertising, banner advertising on the Club’s App receiving over 30,000 page hits every month, and prime positioning in the Club’s business directory. The Club will also work with Wilmoths on promotional activity.

With nearly 500 members – 50 per cent under the age of 18 – the Club is the largest community and youth organisation in Staplehurst. However, it’s reach extends well beyond the local community with 5-7,000 users of the Club’s facilities every year. It hosts around 80 cricket matches including Kent senior fixtures, is one of the Weald’s busiest event venues, and home to the Mid-Kent 5-Mile Race.

It is also planning significant improvements to its facilities over the next 18 months as the Club embarks on the largest investment programme in its history.

Wilmoths has emerged as the UK’s largest Citroën and DS Automobiles group with a strong presence throughout Kent and especially in Maidstone. Wilmoths Maidstone, based on Sutton Road, promises to deliver a comprehensive selection of high-quality new vehicles from its partner brands, an ever-changing range of approved used models in stock, as well as a great servicing offer.

Commenting on the partnership, Wilmoths’ general sales manager, James Tomlin, said: “We are delighted to be able to support Staplehurst Cricket & Tennis Club at this exciting time in its development. We take our commitment to the community we serve extremely seriously and this tie-up further reinforces that.”

Staplehurst Cricket & Tennis Club Chairman, Joy Henson, says: “We are an ambitious club with exciting plans for developing both our sporting and social role. We see working with local business as a key part of our community outreach and we are delighted to enter this partnership with Wilmoths which, as both a local champion and a national company representing two iconic automobile brands, underlines the fact our catchment area now extends well beyond Staplehurst and the Weald.”
