We are delighted to confirm that the books on the Twilight Walk and Quiz, which took place on October 20th, have now closed and the total raised was a magnificent £713.
This does not include a number of private donations made directly to The Brain Tumour Charity which probably took the total funds raised to over four figures. This is a fitting way to honour the memory and celebrate the life of our friend, John Munn, who died of the disease earlier this year.
Thank you so much to everyone involved, from those who walked, to those who donated funds, helped on the walk, provided raffle donations and supplies (and catering!) for the evening. And not least, Rachel Crockford, who pulled the events together.
Those thanks are echoed by Gill Munn who, with her family, played such an integral part in the day.
