Defibrillator awareness session

17 Oct 2018 by John Swannick

Thanks to a grant from The Club Cricket Charity and the Community Heartbeat Trust, the Club now has a defibrillator.

The unit is designed so that anyone can use it in the event of an emergency but it is more likely you can help save a life if you have been shown how.

So we have arranged a defibrillator awareness seminar at the Club on Wednesday 14 Novermber at 7.30pm. It will be led by a trainer from the Community Heartbeat Trust.

We have already invited the Club’s 30 or so First Aiders but a first aid qualification is not necessary. However, if you have a first aid qualification you are encouraged to attend the seminar and join the Club’s First Aider list.

To book a place on the defribrillator awareness seminar and/or register on the First Aider list, please email Tom Henson on info@staplehurstcricket.com.
