Congratulations to the Club’s 1st XI as yesterday’s win against Offham confirmed their promotion and status as Kent League Division 5 champions.
Having won 15 of 17 games before yesterday, the team only needed 7 points to keep ahead of second place Frindsbury. In the event, batting first and scoring 274-5 in their 50 overs meant that our opponents were never in the game and victory was sealed when Offham were bowled out for 155.
This is now successive promotions since the Club entered the Kent League system in 2014. Next season will see the 1st XI playing in Kent League Division 4.
