The Club’s U16 cricketers won their play-off semi-final last night against Linton Park and now progress to the Weald League final on August 27th at Sutton Valence.
In a good all-round bowling display, Linton Park were restricted to 103-4 off their 20 overs. Staplehurst knocked off the runs in the 18th over with Bill Betts retiring on 50 not out and powerful contributions from Ed Wiggins and Tom Huish.
