App hits weekend record

With over 10,000 page hits in a single weekend, the Club’s App looks destined to reach a new monthly record for member engagement. And it seems people want to stay in touch even during the holiday season.

Beyond latest news and events, the App’s major draw is the live updates on games through Live Scores. Over 60 people were following the 1st XI’s latest league win against Mersham and the 2nd XIs performance at Ashford Town on Saturday. A similar number checked in on the Sunday Village League XI’s progress yesterday.

The current monthly record stands at 26,000 pages hits in May when there was over 7,000 in one night as more than 100 people followed the Club’s T20 final triumph at Canterbury. June saw 20,000 page hits and July 21,000.

So far, 230 members are registered on the Club App and 116 have downloaded the App to their smartphone/tablet. For more information on how you can join them, follow the link at the bottom of this message.
