The Club is delighted to announce it has agreed terms with the HotShotZ Tennis franchise to take over management of tennis in the next phase of our club development. HotShotZ already run tennis at the highly successful Horsmonden Tennis Club and deliver tennis coaching at Dulwich Prep and Cranbrook schools amongst others.
HotShotz will continue the current schedule of tennis coaching activity on Monday and Friday evenings in the short term. They will also increase the range of activity in terms of days, times, formats and age groups, including weekend sessions, and further information will be available on the Club website and through Club media shortly.
The HotShotZ partnership at the Club will be led by Jack Lusher who many of you will know from his previous coaching at the Club with SETennis as well as his exploits on the cricket field as a member of the Club’s Saturday 2nd XI.
HotShotZ director, Zane Cheeseman, says: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to support Staplehurst Cricket & Tennis Club’s ambitious development plans and we fully intend to play our part in growing tennis and active tennis membership at the Club over the months and years ahead”.
Club chairman, Joy Henson, says: “We are hugely excited by the potential for increasing the scale and scope of tennis activity at the Club that our partnership with the HotShotZ Tennis franchise offers. Their track record at Horsmonden and in many local schools speaks for itself and I know members will join me in warmly welcoming Zane and supporting him and Jack in building our tennis future”.
The Club would like to record its appreciation of Julian Squiers’ and SETennis’ contribution to tennis at the Club in recent years and we wish them well for the future.
